Shelli Kizner - Owner and Training Director
In 2007, Shelli founded Her own training business in response to local input about the need for positive pet dog training in Davisburg, Clarkston, and North Oakland County. Since that time, Shelli has trained thousands of dogs for clients in the Metro Detroit area and has built a solid reputation as a professional trainer.
Shelli was the first trainer in Michigan to recieve training and certification in force free training techniques from the prestigous Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior. She is one of three trainers in the state of Michigan to be a licensed Victoria Stilwell VSPDT trainer. Shelli's methods of training are fun, insightful and innovative. Realizing that not all dogs behave the same way, she is able to create effective training programs tailored to the specific needs and temperament of every dog she meets.
Shelli also specializes in problem dogs and behaviors and uses her unique insights to help dog owners overcome their issues and create a balanced relationship with their pets.
Shelli volunteers her training services for the non profit organization Pets for Vets, training and placing shelter dogs with war veterans for emotional support.
